Pros

12.75/h 15-20 staff so you can get to know everyone you don't have to be a genius early and late shifts arent too crazy, 5am starts or 11pm finishes

Cons

you'll work significantly more hours than your contract managers and assistant managers are overworked you can be asked to sit on the till for an entire 10 hour shift work life balance is horrible, productivity expectations are unrealistic which is only a problem if the manager doesn't like you

Intelligent engaged people, Modern offices, Decent pay, and good retirement benefits.

Cons

Growing pains of a European company modifying its business to grow its American footprint. Senior leadership was mostly European. Felt disconnected from American grocery culture.
