Pros

- people - tech quality is good - decent pay and benefits - ok on company stuff , food, HR programs

Cons

- founders are a joke and people know - gossip machine - founder friend as ‘cto’ is decent tech guy for no tech background but no clue about tech organization - cto delegates everything to managers who than leave. This month 4 senior manager resigned and we all say its okay

Thanks for your feedback. Members of our leadership team are selected for their roles based on their expertise in their respective areas. We follow a structured selection process for all candidates, and our Recruitment team is passionately committed to hiring the best talent. Like every company, there is always a level of attrition that sees people move on to other opportunities. We look to counteract this with new programs and initiatives to support our employees as we grow, as well as closely monitoring and taking action on your feedback from our engagement survey, as well as here on Glassdoor. We will also introduce a formal succession planning process, to ensure smooth senior leadership transitions, should they occur. This will enable leaders to focus on developing employees to fill the responsibilities of these key roles. If you’d like to keep the conversation going, please get in touch with the Employee Experience partner for your department.

Pros

Small team in NYC working on bringing N26 to the US. Flat team structure (no bureaucracy or painful hierarchies). Open lines of communication and instant feedback loops. Everyone is extremely smart and driven towards a common goal, and we also enjoy each other's company both in and out of the office. There's also respect for having a life outside of work and a good sense of balance. Huge opportunity to take on as much work as you can handle and drive your own workstreams and outputs. I've found that my scope of responsibilities is quite large, and since joining, I've broadened my skill-set significantly in areas I wanted to expand upon.

Cons

Coordination with Berlin can be difficult at times given time zones and hypergrowth there. Nonetheless, people always are willing to help out and make themselves available when needed. Small team size as of now means fewer hands to help with all that needs to get done. That said - plenty of opportunity for new joiners to take on key tasks and responsibilities as we continue to grow the team
