NVIDIA's not perfect but it's definitely great. - Senior QA Engineer NVIDIA Employee Review

Pros

There are tons of extremely intelligent people to work with; NVIDIA offers decent compensation (not quite as glamorous as Google, but pretty standard offerings including full health benefits and decent stock option benefits with a faster vesting schedule than other companies I've worked for). Also, NVIDIA provides employees with all the latest cool computer toys you could possibly imagine - obviously, high-end video cards, but also gorgeous monitors.

Cons

There are a lot of people here who work very long hours, and if you aren't careful you can easily end up burning out. The company doesn't do 401k contribution matching, which I was surprised to find out. Parking is kind of difficult sometimes at the Santa Clara office because of how many people we have in our offices.

Wonderful place to work, great people, fantastic company, rewarding work. Best of my 35-year career.

Cons

Be prepared at onboarding to "drink from the fire hose" :)

Pros

The product security organization has a very ideal work-life balance. The culture is strong on ownership and trust. There is a good sense of pride and collaboration across teams with low level of politics and high sense of "the project is the boss". Compensation is good for the roles. Merit increases and promotions are mostly transparent, but can vary from manager to manager.

Cons

Leadership direction can be whiplash at some times. Some initiatives feel directionless, while others feel misguided. Leadership does respond to push back and listens to employees though, but it often feels like managing up.
