Pros
I worked for PTC in Blaine and Arden Hills for a number of years. The people in the MN office are great and were always supportive of their coworkers. There were plenty of opportunities to move forward in my career and learn new things. I got a lot of great experience from working at PTC.
Cons
With any corporation there are decisions and programs that work and some that miss the mark when they are rolled out to all of the offices. So it would be easy to list some of the poor ones. Better to look at how the company is actually performing. There is a current trend to lay off experienced people in one location and hire people in cheaper locations. A number of people from my office including me were let go. Given the track record, this is probably not the last lay off. Now it is time to watch whether this works or not.
