Pros

International company, large corporation lots of scope to progress

Cons

I had a terrible experience unfortunately with the HR and my management. I was initially hired as a temp to perm. I worked full time and some Saturdays I turned up on time everyday and left always on time or later hours. I helped on other work outside of my job role all in my probation period. After 5 months I was interviewed for the role to go permanent and it was given to someone else and they then also asked me to train them and do a handover. I was really upset. I didn’t even get a leaving card or farewell on my last day. The other girl who ‘Beat me to the job role’ also quit after only three days due to a completely incapable work environment and said it was too hostile and unfriendly and was evident that my mistreatment was not somewhere she also wished to belong or work for.

Pros

As a Maintenance Technician, I take pride in helping maintain some of the highest-quality industrial and commercial properties in the industry. It’s rewarding to know that my work directly contributes to our customers’ success and operational efficiency. Working for Prologis means being part of an organization that prioritizes safety, training, and operational excellence. Having the right tools, resources, and support allows me to perform my job effectively and safely. I’m proud to be part of a team that values its people and invests in maintaining best-in-class facilities. I have the opportunity to solve problems, support our customers, and contribute to the overall success of our properties every day. I play an important role in ensuring our buildings remain safe, reliable, and operating at a high standard. It’s rewarding to know that my work helps support the supply chains and businesses that keep the economy moving.

Cons

The expectations for building maintenance and customer service are high, which can make for busy days, but it also creates opportunities to learn and develop new skills. Depending on the property portfolio, there may be times when multiple priorities need attention at once, requiring strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
