      Pros

      Friends I have made. Getting a paycheck.

      Cons

      Work very hard and rarely get a pat on the back. Make a mistake and you'll know about it soon!!!!!!!! You can get your picture on the wall if enough customers make a fuss over how nice you are, I guess you have to take their food home and cook it for them. Get reprimanded in front of customers for doing something another manager told me to do. Total lack of respect on the part of some managers. I'm in my fifties, been there for nearly 6 months, let me tell you it sucks!!!!!!!!! I'm never late, haven't called in sick, but I get yelled at for leaving my register by one manager because another manager told me to. I was berated for leaving at my scheduled time by one manager when I was told by someelse that I could leave. example.."DON'T YOU EVER LEAVE YOUR REGISTER TILL SOMEONE TELLS YOU THAT YOU CAN" . I replied that "so and so said I could leave".. Never said he was sorry, nothing..

      Pros

      Good compensation including not just standard pay, but also end of year bonus 80 hours for hourly associates, 8% of your annual earnings granted to you in free company stock thru which quarterly dividends are paid, ok 401k, and gift card and other associate coupons. Good stability and growth. Good company culture.

      Cons

      Can be slow and resistant to change. Uses some antiquated systems and software that should have been replaced years ago. Does some things that don't make sense. Some managers can be good, while others not very good. Although these cons may be true for a lot of companies. All roads eventually lead to Lakeland where they are headquartered. Geography can be a big one if you are not a Florida native. If you don't want to live in Florida for some legitimate reasons, there can be limited job options in other states, especially if you aren't interested in retail or warehouse jobs. Standard retail negatives about not having a lot of holidays off.
