SoC teams have highly toxic work culture with pathetic AR process - Engineer Qualcomm Employee Review

1) AR process is absolutely pathetic to say the least. Even if you are in a junior position where promotions are supposed to happen faster, manager will keep you in same position for more than 2-3 years and sometimes 3+ years giving vague excuses. No matter how many tickets you have closed. 2) Weekend work is becoming increasingly common, especially in SoC teams where manager expect you to be available everyday and even after working hours. 3) 5 days mandatory WFO. Only managers, who themselves cannot maintain this, will allow his subordinates to take few WFH days. Many capable guys and girls are leaving the firm due to this toxic culture.
