Pros

The salary is good and the company is in San Diego.

Cons

It's a company of little fiefdoms, where people in different fiefdoms are seen as the enemy, and usually you are expected to not cooperate with them. The communication culture is horrible; not only do people not respond to emails within a day or two, they often don't respond at all, or will only respond if you cc a director or VP. Very little gets done without it being escalated to a director or VP, and even requests for people to just do their jobs are included in that. The politics are petty and destructive, but it's difficult to survive and impossible to advance without participating in the politics. While these cons have been around for a while, as the stock price drops, these cons get worse and the atmosphere gets gloomier and gloomier. Hopefully the past couple of days will help.

Pros

Great design team. Learn a lot in the project. Great resources for self motivated technical improvement.

Cons

Big wave of talented engineers leaving in some critical departments. CEO lacks responsibility on the company development. CEO and CFO have been selling their stocks a lot every year.
