Pros

Large Company. Largest bank in Canada. Management is very supportive. A lot of room for advancement. Multiple offices around the country which means that it is very easy to transfer if one moves. Possibility of taking additional courses from "RBC Campus" to improve your skills. Some what of a good reward system of points to recognize employees who have done great work. Possibility of working part time in certain positions while pursuing an education.

Cons

Positions are very focused on one specific role.. Work seems to get very repetitive. Salaries seems to be low in comparison to some of the other banks, or similar positions in other companies.

Excellent collaboration between infrastructure and incident management teams; vendor coordination is efficient. Competitive compensation and benefits package, including solid health coverage and retirement matching.

Cons

Workload spikes during major incidents can challenge work-life balance, especially when on-call.

Pros

Stable work life balance. The culture is really great, very easy to work with complex management and managers. Willing to help you grow and learn with clients

Cons

Not a lot of room for growth unless you come in the door with that expectation. It can be very easy to get stuck in this role as your pay slowly increases and the job title mostly stays the same. Associate promotions and raises are rarely given and take a lot of coercion to get.
