Pros

Great enterprise-wide opportunities, firm has breadth and depth of operations, though international operations are mostly limited to the southeast U.S. and the Caribbean, with some limited opportunities in Global Capital Markets and Wealth Management in London and Hong Kong.

Cons

People are often expected to do many lateral career moves with little or no increase in compensation. Some of the management can be paternalistic, but most firms have this issue.

Excellent collaboration between infrastructure and incident management teams; vendor coordination is efficient. Workload spikes during major incidents can challenge work-life balance, especially when on-call.

Pros

Stable work life balance. The culture is really great, very easy to work with complex management and managers. Willing to help you grow and learn with clients

Cons

Not a lot of room for growth unless you come in the door with that expectation. It can be very easy to get stuck in this role as your pay slowly increases and the job title mostly stays the same. Associate promotions and raises are rarely given and take a lot of coercion to get.
