Pros

RBC can be a great place to work, but not the Leadership Development Program

Cons

The Leadership Development Program used to be a phenomenal initiative under the former management. However, after management was changed in 2019, the program went downhill. The new program Management is extremely controlling and do not have the best interest of candidates' careers in mind. They have no alignment with the Leadership Model framework and the One RBC philosophy, hindering career aspirations and limiting talent potential in the name of keeping a Program structure that doesn't allow Associates to pursue their dreams within the company. They have lost some of the most amazing Associates so far and keep losing talent day by day. Whenever individuals try to speak up for the good of RBC and LDP, they are seen as troublemakers and get silenced. RBC, do something about it! You are a phenomenal employer and the LDP Management is jeopardizing what you took years to build. Change the Management.

Excellent collaboration between infrastructure and incident management teams; vendor coordination is efficient. Competitive compensation and benefits package, including solid health coverage and retirement matching.

Cons

Workload spikes during major incidents can challenge work-life balance, especially when on-call.

Pros

Stable work life balance. The culture is really great, very easy to work with complex management and managers. Willing to help you grow and learn with clients

Cons

Not a lot of room for growth unless you come in the door with that expectation. It can be very easy to get stuck in this role as your pay slowly increases and the job title mostly stays the same. Associate promotions and raises are rarely given and take a lot of coercion to get.
