Pros
Ability to transfer well within organization if you have issues with your direct manager. Company does a very good job balancing life work related issues and should have no problem giving you time off if needed. This is not a company that will make you slave over work. Very nice laid back attitude, friendly staff, most people seem to get along very well. Yearly bonuses were a plus, good performance reviews which are useful for a company this size. SAIC would be a great place to launch a career, as it allows good lateral movement and management is generally helpful if you find yourself unhappy.
Cons
Can get lost in the "big company" feel. Laid back attitude can make it hard to get work done when it needs to be. Employees who underperform are oftentimes not reprimanded -- and can even be rewarded for their laziness. Occasional bickering or "coffee break" type rumors about employees can lead to a poor work environment, especially among coworkers.
