Pros
Met some of the best people to work with (peers, supervisors, low level managers and most of the project managers) -- most of them hardworking, competent and with great personalities...Because of its size, SAIC provides opportunities for working under various projects (different in size, nature and complexity) -- it's a great way of gaining valuable experience.
Cons
Poor communication between upper management and employees – communication is practically non-existent. Training provided when absolutely needed (no training is provided for professional development purposes). SAIC is not the place for work - personal life balance. Salaried employees expected to work additional hours at all times, not just temporarily, for a short period of time...In a lot of cases, there is recognition for a “job well done” from upper management.
