Pros
Schneider Electric has a great group of people--several being there for a long time. They look to promote from within and mostly keep and support employees that work hard. If the manager is supportive, they will allow for flexible work arrangements--including part-time situations.
Cons
Over the years (I worked there for 15 years), the leadership has become less communicative and lacking in direction. As the industry became more competitive, Square D/Schneider Electric has changed strategies continually to try to adjust--mostly without success. Several of the top management were rude and abrasive in their demeanor. They also tend to take away small benefits to try to cut costs (like coffee!). Marketing is constantly in flux, and doesn't often get respect from management and other areas of the company.
