Pros

has a good reputation and it loos cool to work here. you get cash handling experience and learn about compliance but that was about it for me

Cons

I cannot being to describe how bad my experience with this company was. I got in trouble for doing exactly what management told me to do, I had to send my school schedule 3 times to 3 different managers and I was still scheduled for dates when I had classes. I got phone calls at home telling my that I should be at work and I did not show up while was not scheduled so I had to send my employee schedule to different people to prove that I did not skip my shift. The absolute worst was that I barely had the chance to take my breaks and one occasion when I worked with 2 other tellers and there were 4 people in the store for the 3 of us, I asked my manager to go for a quick washroom break, and was told that there is a line up, so I looked at him I and sad I HAVE TO PEE AND HE AGAIN TOLD ME WELL THERE IS A LINE UP. It was my first job as a university student and I did not have the time to deal with issues but I honestly do not know how I did not report them somewhere for this..............

Pros

The management team was supportive, and the branch had a strong team-oriented culture. Because it was a smaller branch, employees had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, collaborate across roles, and learn from one another. Team members regularly shared ideas, provided constructive feedback, and supported each other's professional growth, creating a positive and rewarding work environment.

Cons

The main areas for improvement would be compensation and scheduling flexibility. At the time, I felt the pay was somewhat low relative to my previous leadership experience in retail management. While compensation may be competitive for some entry-level banking roles, I would have appreciated a stronger alignment between pay and prior supervisory experience. Aside from that, my decision to leave was based on pursuing a different career path rather than any issues with the company itself. TD Bank offers a professional work environment, supportive teams, and valuable opportunities for growth and development within the banking industry.
