Pros
100% remote, which is a huge plus for flexibility and avoiding commute-related stress. It’s a good starting point for those new to the tech-adjacent space who want hands-on experience with data annotation, content moderation, and digital safety evaluation. Training is well-structured, and there’s helpful support during onboarding. They also offer mental health resources, which is appreciated given the nature of the work.
Cons
The pay of $13/hr is low considering the mental and emotional demands, especially when evaluating sensitive or disturbing content. (You can opt out of those tasks but won't see many basic tasks.) While it might be reasonable for basic tasks, more complex or intense assignments merit better compensation. Additionally, there’s minimal opportunity for advancement or pay increases, which may be limiting for those looking to grow within the role.
