Pros
-The building is a newer build, so everything is still in good condition. -Janitorial staff did a good job at keeping the building clean. -Most people were friendly. -Compensation was higher than some companies in the Memphis area. -Office management was flexible if you needed to leave for a family event or doctor appointment.
Cons
-The Byhalia location uses SAP as their ERP system. I do not feel it is setup as it should be for just-in-time production. Lots of room for improvement. The legacy manufacturing locations use Oracle and other ERP systems. The company should be on one ERP system so that the systems are intertwined. -Some of the IT staff seemed to lack knowledge of how SAP operates and did not fix issues in a timely manner -or at all. -Warehouse management needed work. -The location is out in the middle of nowhere. There is only Sonic, Subway, Sbarros, and a Mexican restaurant nearby. For everything else, you have to drive Collierville which is about 14 minutes away. -30 minute lunch break. -HR was only onsite for about 2-3 days out of the week. -Very strict attendance policy for warehouse workers. Not much leniency. -Didn't have enough staff for the warehouse to operate efficiently. -Corporate HR seemed to make decisions without consulting with lower-level managers to get an actual idea of what was needed or not needed for their departments. -Stressful and noisy work environment in the front office. People talking on speaker phone and yelling across the room, disrespecting the work area of others. -Too many mandatory meetings in a work day.
