Pros

Hour flexibility, leave of absence

Cons

I don't know how people are saying this is a good company to work for. From day one my class and multiple other classes that I personally have spoke to, were jerked around. In phase 1 of training we were trained by multiple different people, then when we got to phase 2 and 3 we were told we were trained wrong. Were we cut any slack if we did something we were trained to do and it turned out to be wrong, no. Once we were actually on the phones things didn't get better. They have chat rooms that are mandatory you are signed into everyday in case you need help, but getting someone to even acknowledge you in them is next to impossible. So heaven forbid you're on the phone with someone and don't know how to do what they're asking for, no one in these chat rooms is likely to help and if they do you may be treated like you are stupid. Then there is the bonuses, ha! What a joke. The metrics you're judged on, they don't let you know how you're doing, they don't keep any of it available for you to keep an eye on. You're only told when you're so far away from meeting it that you can't catch up. One of the things they base bonuses on is the survey the members can opt into at the beginning of the call. Which the company that provides that feature says not to use for metrics.. There's no way to opt in after someone has provided great service and even if you have already chose to do the survey it's not a guarantee it will kick in at the end of the call. Oh, and if the member doesn't finish the survey, that will negatively effect your score, and often in my experience the member uses it to complain about something the company is doing, so even if they give the agent that helped them 10s across the bored, the agent will still get that counted against them. But what really blew my mind, was last month me and a few of my classmates expected to get one of the bonuses but come to find out when it wasn't on our check, it was because they had changed the criteria you had to meet to get the bonus without mentioning it or even sending out an email! I was floored. Oh and you better hope you're working if they have any meetings because if not, trying to get the information that was discussed is nearly impossible. They changed the attendance policy but I didn't work the day they had that meeting so even though I have been told multiple times they would meet with me to give me that information... I still sit in the dark. And the icing on the ridiculous cake is your hired for a remote job, then out of nowhere they tell some of us that we have to go back onsite "in waves". Prompting a complete freak out by some because they were told they were getting a remote job, and they live so far away from "on site" that they would have to drive an hour or more to work or just be out of a job. I wouldn't have wasted my time applying if I would've been told eventually it wouldn't be remote. They tried to bandaid that by saying they are going to postpone it, but ever since, things have changed in ways that it 100% feels like they are trying to get rid of us. Ask around, I have no idea how this place is voted a good company to work for. As soon as I can find another job I'm out.

Pros

My group of supervisors and our manager work really well together. The upside of this company is the ability to work from home and the support you are given is better than most places I have worked.

Cons

this can only be said for my project as we do not always have a clear path of what the upper management is looking for us to do

Pros

For the most part, I have an open availability. I do however, like not having to work on Sundays. Some campains allow for a 1 hour lunch break. The hiring process was fairly easy. Your equipment is provided. There is opportunity for advancement. They are helpful when it comes to license renewal. Calls are back to back which for me seems to make time go faster. Flexibly as to when you want to take your lunch break. You have to opportunity to assist people without having to feel it was rushed. Off all major holidays.

Cons

Rushed training that may leave some questions unanswered. I feel like I had to figure things out on my own. Getting the assistance you need to help a client took longer than it should, especially when the client is on on hold, waiting for your response. At times some trainers seem to be unprepared for the roll they have taken. Calls are frequently monitored. Not much time between calls. It can take too long to transition from on campain to the next after the project has ended.
