Pros

They just raised their minimum wage, management aims to be open; you can talk to anyone on the management team about an issue, even if you're not part of their department. They are a bit more generous with breaks than other places: for a full 8 hour shift you're entitled to two 15 minute breaks and a 45 minute meal break. Working in a store like Target means you can pretty much buy anything you want for a discount.

Cons

The discount is a bit lacking, with 10% off plus 5% with a redcard. However, it was recently expanded to give 30% off all fruits and vegetables, Simply Balanced products, and C9 products. If you are known for being a good worker, you will at times feel exploited; good people can feel punished because they are expected to go above and beyond and thus their assigned location suffers, as opposed to people who do the bare minimum and just stay in their departments all day.

Pros

If you are looking for a job that you’ll be a part of a fun team environment, have the ability to learn all about customer “guest” service, retail operations and sales, as well as merchandising even at entry level great opportunity. for such a large corporation I have been pleasantly surprised by how tight knit teams are. applying was okay, there were multiple steps (videos, assessments) but overall not too bad)., phone call and then video questions before hiring.

Cons

Pay isn’t great, but for the market it’s fair. Moving up involves a much larger increase in responsibilities and workload relative to the pay increase.
