      Pros

      Doing something different every day, great interactions with regular customers and fun problem solving. The business model is a good one.

      Cons

      Independently owned stores mean that some (like mine) are run poorly or the owners are a bit crazy and unprofessional. Be careful to interview your boss just as much as they interview you.

      Pros

      Due to understaffing, certain staff gets more hours. Decent enough pay compared to other companies, if you're patient enough (several years later) you can finally move up. You'll do decently if you're put under a decent manager.

      Cons

      Always understaffed and managers say we are "overstaffed", managers can influence raises to some degree by what they say and their employee biases, etc.
