Pros

Working at WK as a Senior Customer Success Specialist was truly one of the best professional experiences I’ve had. The role allowed me to work closely with customers on complex challenges, lead advanced onboarding and training, and partner with internal teams to deliver real value; especially within the healthcare space. I was trusted with escalations, data-driven decision making, mentoring others, taking on many responsibilities, which made the work both challenging and rewarding. The compensation, benefits, and overall support at WK are exceptional. They offered 3x more than what I was expecting! The Chicago office culture, including free lunches, snacks, and drinks every day, made coming into the office something I genuinely looked forward to. I felt valued, supported, and encouraged to grow. I ultimately left the role due to family circumstances, not because of the position or company. If given the opportunity, I would return to this role without hesitation. In my experience, it’s rare to find a position that offers this level of professional fulfillment, compensation, and work environment; this job truly set the bar for me.

Pros

Wolters Kluwer has some genuinely amazing people working for them and offers flextime for good work/life balance

Cons

Recently began pushing to "inhouse-outsource" as much of the core business functions as possible to their new service center in Pune, India. While many of my Indian colleagues are exceptional people, the constant turnover with overseas contractors and haphazard hiring and training process means that many of these staff members are woefully underprepared and set up for failure. As an example, I had to train my Indian contractor replacement before I left - while he was a lovely person, he had zero training in or experience with US payroll, benefit or tax structures despite that being approximately 50% of my core job function.
