Business Outlook
Pros
It can be a place to start out in a career, if other doors are closed to you. There's a wide discrepancy in the quality of the groups. If you're lucky, you'll end up in a group with competent leadership.
Cons
Low pay, private equity owned now (replaced all execs who knew the business), no financial transparency, promote toxic managers, big layoff in May involved pressuring to keep quiet about the layoff and the severance package. According to the NLRB, employees and former employees have a right to discuss a layoff and any compensation, even if they sign a severance agreement.
