Wurth Adams has a lot of growth going on right now, and as a result they we are building a new headquarters in Brooklyn Park, MN, which we will be moving into during the summer of 2015. They put a lot of thought into creating a workplace that would not only work for the company, but would also bring benefits to the employees. The new location will have a fitness center, corporate training facility, tech savvy warehouse operations, and even perks like desks that rise so you can stand or sit at them while you work. With the growth of the company, there have been lots of advancement opportunities. On top of the advancement, they also offer tuition reimbursement covered 100%. They talk a lot about the philosophy of the company and investing back into employees, so it’s great to know that I work for a company that’s willing to invest in my own personal future success. Another thing that has stood out since the very beginning of my employment is the overall culture of the company and how friendly the people here are. This isn’t just the coworkers on my own team, but also other departments. For the most part many of the people I’ve come in contact with are extremely friendly, and very helpful. One thing that stood out right away is that senior management at the executive level is very down to earth, and focused on ensuring that employees know how their position fits into the bigger picture. A great example of this is how transparent they are with sharing the company’s status and future goals. Quarterly meetings are held for every employee to attend, and during these meetings the President shares sales numbers, updates, and where we are at as a whole. Communicating with employees and keeping them informed is a priority.
