5yThank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. It is important for us to hear what we do well and even more importantly, what we need to improve upon to drive change at Zalando. We’d like to specifically address your concerns regarding leadership and job satisfaction.
At Zalando, we invest in building a leadership culture in line with Our Founding Mindset, a guide for everyday leadership. These leadership principles apply for all levels of the company and we expect all leads to role model these principles, among others to support their team members in their development, share information to guide them purposefully and to celebrate successes. Our quarterly employee engagement survey, zBeat, collects insights about employee engagement and provides us with a direction where we need to support and invest more in. And our leaders are expected to act on the feedback results. We hold leaders accountable and evaluate their performance through regular performance evaluations by using role expectations and leadership principles to collect 360° feedback.
We have recently introduced new role expectations in Technology to help provide more clarity on expectations from each seniority level and how our talents can grow in their respective job family or move into a different role. In our regular talent reviews we calibrate the performance of each of our talents against their peer group and measure their specific achievements and capabilities. We believe that Zalando is a company where contribution matters and we recognize colleagues for their achievements, not words.
