      Decent Workplace, depends on your setting

      Pros

      If you luck out and get a setting with a great manager it's a nice place to work, I worked in Urgent Care on 3rd Street and all of the PAs, NPs, MDs and Nurses were great to work with. Our manager as well was supportive of us and advocated and cared about us. I floated over to Internal Med a few times and that was night and day. Grumpy co-workers and physicians. I feel like it all depends on where you go. Is there issues with Essentia? Sure, but name me a hospital that doesn't now. Doesn't mean they're a bad employer by any means. All about perspective. I was treated with respect even with a job title that wasn't as prestigious as RN, etc. I honestly enjoyed the job and my role and would've stayed if not for grad school which took up a lot of my time.

      Honestly not much. I didn't mind the schedule.

      Flexible with time off, welcoming, work-life balance, flexible hours

      Cons

      There is a lot of turnover in the informatics department which makes getting data needed to do your work challenging. But, everyone is super kind and apologetic.
