      Get you placed in blue chip companies within weeks of joining

      Cons

      Salary is just too low. Only enough for beers for the two years contract. Benefits are not good enough.

      2.5 Years Ago I Knew Nothing About Software Development, Now I Have an Awesome Career in Software Development

      Pros

      FDM provided me with a fast route into a career that I now love. I knew almost nothing about software development and sending CVs out to software companies in the hope of some training had proved futile. I joined the graduate scheme and was taught from scratch how to develop software professionally. They give people a chance based on their qualities as individuals rather than their existing experience. Opportunities to work with blue chip clients.

      12-16 weeks unpaid training at the beginning. No sick pay.

      Pros

      It's a good start. The java training is not that bad they teach u the basics of TDD and web developement with Java environment.

      Cons

      2 years of contract and u have to pay to leave. You only get a third of your salary. All the HR are also graduates so not very efficient.
