Pros

A step up from basic retail work, requiring attention to detail and some professional experience and courtesy.

Cons

Still working behind a counter, where anyone can come in and complicate your day. However, this job is a great building block for those who lack professional experience. Kind of one foot in one foot out of normal retail drudgery. Requires keen multitasking skills, email, phone, customers waiting in line, remembering international shipping policies. Lots and lots of checklists and corporate policy/procedure.
