      Fluor has some great people working here

      Pros

      Overall Fluor has some wonderful people that work for it. It is a place that people come and can work 20, 30 or 40 years for. Local management cares for their employees and does what it can to take care of them.

      Cons

      Some of the down side of Fluor, is that if they don't have work for you, they lay you off pretty fast. Most poeple that have 20 or 30 years with the company have been laid off a few 2 or 3 times.

      The company has a wide variety of projects, which can be very beneficial during tough times.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, Fluor is struggling to stay competitive right now. They are typically more expensive than other companies in the industry because they feel that produce the best product.

      large company the reality is that you are just one tiny gear in the huge machine large projects mean some boredom at work
