Pros

The internship gave me a real insight in to the nature of the work at G-Research. Great salary and benefits. Extremely smart and friendly colleagues. Not so different from an academic research environment. Vibrant location in central London surrounded by restaurants and green spaces.

Cons

Still quite paranoid about security.

Pros

Very smart people, relaxed environment, real focus on quality over quantity. Non-stop learning is encouraged in every possible way. Pretty flat structure and direct contact with management. Salary and bonus above average.

Cons

Security and secrecy are an every day challenge you need to deal with and get used to. It may take a while.
