hyperfocused on metrics . to the point of mangers faking things rather than providing real data . constantly making changes from above for " problems" perceived on operations that seemed more about appeasing unrealistic expectations based on general sense of fear of upper levels literally would fake inventory voubts rather than be in trouble if the twice daily random stock counts were out of sync. best practices for warehouse / Inventory were somehow supposed to be achieved while also being within small window of acceptable metrics despite range of what each order might be only matter kept pick time 90swconds to 2 minutes wether it was a three item order or 30 items
