Cons
I was recruited as a GET after a campus placement by HCL Technologies. Then they informed that we will be into HCL Comnet which is their subsidiary company. After joining the firm, they put me into a project in a US Based investment bank in Bangalore Location. The project I got there was totally useless and It can be done by any school student. There was absolutely nothing technical in the project. Being a fresher, It took me some time to understand the danger I got into and to open up to the management regarding my concern. No action was taken at all. The manager told that a project change is not possible because I dont have any technical skills for any project (How can they expect me to have any technical skills if they put me into such a useless project). They finally put me into another project which was just a change of location but same kind of work. Finally after almost 3 years of useless work, I resigned from this so called "Employee friendly company" with a huge dent in my career and I havent still fully recovered from the same.
