      peanut pay, expect ppl to work like they are working for the best company in the world !!!

      Pros

      1) lot of internal mobility, only if you have good brownie points from manager, if you can "sir" the managers. 2) financial services have some good clients. So possiblity of good business exposure ( * conditions apply)

      Cons

      1) pathetic compensation. No where near industry standard, so there is no motivation to work 2) very cost conscious. No tissues in the restroom to save cost 3) very bueracratic. Senior management work as government officials. 4) expect wonders from employees, new initiatives, value adds... but why would anybody want to do it for peanuts??

      Pros

      Good place for fresher,BA and other Mgmt guys. If you doesn't know A B C D in software industry and underlying business then try to get into BA, TL or PM. This is ideal place for dump resources.

      Cons

      Good onsite opportunity to who's god for nothing. Separate appraisal process for Business Analyst and Business Team. Take everything from developer and give nothing. Recession shown the real image of HCL Senior Mgmt behavior. "Employee first" Only in papers but it completely other way!!! Don't expect anything from mgmt, if you knowledgeable ,committed and hard worker. All higher mgmt has firing power. It got exposed to all employees during one of the HCL open forum discussion with Vineet Nayar.

      onsite opportunities job security good for intial years of your career..then leave it and look for better options else where

      Cons

      no transparency of communication between the senior management and the technical staff employee first is only on the papers low salary
