Pros

Clothing allowance and significant discounts

Cons

Senior management treat other employees quite badly. Lack of technological innovation. IT department is years behind competitors when it comes to the technology being used and given that everything is run through head office in Germany, any changes must first be approved by them. Bad behaviour from rogue staff members is seldom dealt with. One rogue staff member was allowed to continue a pattern of bad and intmidating behaviour in the finance team, and seemed 'untouchable' as he had come from head office in Germany. Another member of senior management has had repeated warnings and even been sent on 'anger management' courses and yet still gets away with bad behaviour. A few years ago profits were down and staff were being made redundant, yet somehow the head of finance still managed to get a Mercedes-Benz company car. If you're not a member of the "Senior Management Club" you aren't going to go far!

Pros

50% Discount. Uniform provided. 30 minute lunch break.

Cons

We got paid less than the Mcdonalds workers next-door. Management had a high turn over, and every new manager was just a different version of the last. They all felt predatory. I had a informal disciplinary discussion because I wasn't being a " Team Player" ...... I was the only employee that was booked into a hotel that night, except for my manger. It was customary for everyone to fly home after a meeting in another store/country.
