Pros

Honeywell offers good benefits, and provides several avenues for learning and professional growth. The Honeywell people around the wold are great to work with, and despite the great distances between the people there is a good sense of team, and virtual teamwork if often quite fruitful. Honeywell does a good job communicating the state of the business to the oranization; there are corporate town all meetings, as well as SBG and plant level town halls.

Cons

Matrixed organizational structure sometimes leads to confusing and even conflicting objectives, given by several managers. The reward and recognition program that is in use at Honeywell feels too ad-hoc'ish. There are many who should've received a reward never have.

Pros

Ability to work on high end technology in aerospace both in aircraft and space. The opportunity to work with well educated colleagues from all round the world. The oportunity to work with really bright & creative technical folks who love working in areosapce

Cons

Typical large corporation with the MBA metric dejour changing quarterly. And if management thinks this is really important then they need to do it instead of requiring the technical staff to charge to unproductive time to do managements tasks for them.

Pros

Well, it's a paycheck. It will look good on your resume (unless the person reading your resume has ever worked for HTSI).

Cons

1. Management - too afraid of losing their jobs to stand up for their employees 2. Upper Management - way too many level of bs 3. HR Department - ineffective 4. Co-workers - the old timers, anyway. They've been doing the same thing, the same way for 30+ years, and proud of it! 5. Salaries, Bonuses, Insurance Coverage 6. HTSI has a long history of placing people in positions different than initially described, promised, or within the employees' actual desires or skill set.
