Pros

Food at the Sweedish Bistro was FIRE!

Cons

Excessive micro-management from mid-level management Constant breach of Fair-Work Agreement with Management's unannounced alterations of Rosters without notice. Minimum staff rostering placing undue pressure on staff members to complete work, not worth pay grade of $27/hr. Poor safety culture with management not taking responsibility for in-store safety around customers. Constant breach of Safe-Work Agreement by placing undue pressure on single employees to complete tasks meant for two people due to budget cuts.

Pros

PTO, Sick Pay, Holiday Pay, Benefits (part-time HL1 get eye and dental. HL2 (up to 32 hrs) gets all the benefits.

Cons

Toxic work environment (thanks to upper management). It has changed since Ingvar (founder) passed. Yes, change is inevitable, but it changed for the worse. The pay is the only real reason to stay. But, the misery spreads and tension builds. If you stand up for yourself, you are seen as trouble. It’s politics. They will only give growth opportunities to people who are willing to conform. Even then it would be hard.
