Pros

It's a great place to work; especially if you're looking to grow and gain experience. Overall, you can't go wrong without a job now-a-days

Cons

I can't think of one possible downside to IKEA. It's a great place to work and, plus, they have great benefits.

Pros

One of the best reason to work at IKEA is that the benefits package is awesome for a retail employer. You can really accumulate time off, and if you quit or are fired, you are paid for any remaining vacations, personal, sick, and flexible holiday. A severence check, if you would.

Cons

A major downside to IKEA is that it claims to be different than other employers as far as trying to do the right thing by its employees, but then if sales drop below predictions, everything is placed on the back burner, including the common sense.
