Pros

The system and advanced coworker break room/ease of communication Cool people, both customers and employees, cool atmosphere/culture Good benefits

Cons

Low pay long hours. Too many customers; no privacy. Hard to move up, Walk and stand on concrete for long hours. There is favoritism in whom they allow to move up. I’ve seen people barely be promoted after 10+ years. All the older established workers hold on to upstairs positions (easier work), so mostly only downstairs positions available. Basically no different than any other minimum wage job

Pros

Sometimes we got free food

Cons

Very cliquey, claim to be supportive when they're not. Claim to be a living wage employer but full-time positions are a rarity so you can't live off said living wage. Only progression you'll get in IKEA is when you leave the company to find something better
