Better pay than other Govt. Departments, Better Stability than Private firms, Nature of work and work Load depends from person to person, place to place. All your needs are taken care by the company.

Cons

Work becomes monotonous after sometime. Growth in profession and salary is less comparing to other private firms. Poor management in transfers and promotions is apparent.
