      Pros

      It is the only PSU that takes CS students through GATE. So a good opportunity for CS students who want a job in Indian Oil.

      Cons

      Well, the management is a type of drawback here, as i've heard.

      Pros

      Considerable operational and functional freedom & flexibility. Huge scope for positive contribution towards systemic improvement. Strong inter-personal bonding & fellow feeling at lower management level.

      Cons

      HR policies needs much to be perfected and developed to bring greater transparency & equity. Compensation packages are not enough to attract fresh bona fide talent and also do not commensurate with the responsibilty & accountability shouldered by the middle & senior level executives. Compensation packages skewed in favour of workmen.
