Freedom to travel. Can initiate marketing schemes/campaigns/projects worth lacs of rupees. Exposure to various public contractors and district administration. High pay. In addition to base pay, your get DA, HRA, Other perks. If you are in field job, your travel allowance is good. Overall, you get 18-20 lacs pre tax per annum. There is a range because of variation in DA and travel allowances from month to month. In case there is annual profit to IOCL, employees get a very sweet bonus. Unlimited cashless medical coverage and a secure job. What else ? In a field job, you can work from home mostly round the year (cherry on the cake).

Cons

Not a typical PSU. They make you work hard. Bottom line does matter here. And as a sales guy, you must bring in new commercial business.
