      Probably one of the best places to work, if you are willing to make a few compromises

      Pros

      It depends which team are you in, really. The supprting departments in Infosys are probably the best in the business: VISA, Travel, Settlement etc. If your manager / team is good, you will be a very happy person in Infosys. If you dont gel with your manager, it will not be a smooth ride. I have believed that the managers here are very opinionated towards people.

      Cons

      Not the best place to work if you want great salary. Its better than most but certainly not the best. Feedback system is a disappointment, the way Infosys looks towards its employees has changed drastically over the years. Now all the 'focus' towards the employees is to make them more competent, which is to say 'more sellable'. The company does not give a damm to your work life balance, it is upto you to figure that out.

      Competive Salary and Benefit Package Developers are technically sound Process Oriented At times can get the good learning experience if you land up in a right opportunity at right time

      Bad Managers Bad Policies Bad Apparaisal process based on which everything is decided including salary raise,promotion and almost every aspect of your profesional career on that single number. Bad Certification Process

      It was a good place to learn and be exposed to a variety of projects; however, the company is extremely disorganized.

      Not many people in the U.S. so get a lot of recognition for the work you do and exposure to a variety of roles and projects

      Cons

      India centric and all decisions are made in Bangalore Horrible systems that you must use internally Horrible policies and connections to business enabler functions Horrible benefits Lack of ability to reward top performers with compensation and promotions
