Pros
1) If you want to get married (being a guy, not sure if same is true for girls also) this is the place. You have many options and everybody here just want to settle after joining as fresher 2) Its a nice resort (Bangalore, Electronic city office) with cafeterias, shops, boating etc. Nice place to roam around, show to your family/friends and spend time with your beloved one 3) Job Security 4) If you are lucky you might get onsite. 5) Lot of team building and outings. I had visited almost all 5-stars in this company.
Cons
1) Your skills will be totally ruined. Mgmt has the policy of ruining the talent. They will put you in totally different project when compared to your skills even when you are a lateral joinee. 2) Salary is crappy. Its not even peanuts (maybe rotten peanut) compared to what people get outside. 3) Your colleagues are worthless, they dont know nothing about the project and technology. You are simply surrounded by fools 4) Mgmt promotes late nights and weekend work. From top to bottom everybody is enforcing that culture. higher mgmt to middle mgmt to team-leads and employees. 5) No work life balance. I literally broke up with my girlfriend bcoz of stupid Infosys. 6) They will push to you the extreme edge after which you are left with no option but to switch 7) Mgmt has no idea who is worth and skilled. People who kiss asses are treated well. And people who are skilled and talented are looked as the one having attitude problem. You just have to lick your manager's and team-lead's ass to get ahead. Talent is of no use. 8) No patent and skill advancement. You are not supposed to be creative in this company
