      High quality people that care about you. Lean deal teams, lots of exposure to senior people who value your input.

      The usual. Long unpredictable hours. Sometimes boring/rote/admin work.

      Some MDs are very smart and genuinely do care about junior ranks Strong deal experience

      Cons

      Some MDs and VPs do not care about junior employees. A few senior people would fall into a catagory worse than "dont care". Try to avoid them if possible.

      Pros

      There are some great leaders who try to make the place a fair environment that are also helpful mentors.

      Cons

      But there are leaders who make the place a toxic work environment. I’ve heard racist xenophobic comments on numerous occasions in the late evenings where they thought no one was still there or was comfortable enough to say it around me.
