Pros

Many of my colleagues are spot on some of the best in the business, and I've learned some significant life lessons from them. The compensation is spot on given the job but the clawback on bonuses is kind of bullsh!t

Cons

There are many more in management that seem to have the skill set of a toddler and many times they sound like a toddler when they don't get their way. There really isn't a path for personal or professional growth, it's as if they use you for two years and toss you to the curb like this weeks recycling.

Pros

Compensation is generally on par with the street. Work is similar to that in any other investment bank, though the deal teams are slightly thinner. Junior bankers generally spend significantly more time pitching than those at other banks.

Cons

Turnover is higher here than at competing banks. Exits opportunities are not on par with those at bulge brackets. Cutthroat culture. Little communication between senior management and juniors. Rigid compensation structure. Significant financial penalties if you decide to leave.
