And most of all, KPMG seems to have managed to keep a casual environment of friendly, informal and open communication where all are treated equaly and with respect.
Cons
Often, the advisory work requires a significant time on the road and working very long hours which makes it very hard to spend quality time with the family and friends, maintain healthy lifestyle and engage in personal hobbies. As with any large corporation, the fruits of bureaucracy spoil the good environment and create inefficiencies and as with any business oriented corporation, the individual's philosophy is strongly materialistic.
