Pros

KPMG has good name recognition in Singapore and globally, so it is not bad to have on your resume. Other employers have a lot of familiarity with the Big 4 firms.

Cons

The business environment in Singapore is modernizing. The management of KPMG recognizes this, but KPMG is very slow to react. We say we want to provide excellent client service, but we're too conservative to give advice that is much help, and our various departments cannot work together because each partner is too selfish to sacrifice fees by working with other partners.

Pros

Great benefits; smart, professional team; latest technologies; good pay; good career advancement opportunities; lots of room to take ownership of your projects

Cons

KPMG is a large and very corporate organization, often prone to partner-paralysis due to majority-rule nature of a collaborative partnership.
