Pros

If you dance to the tune of your individual store and play nice with all of the nonsense you can get a promotion and usually a decent pay. My advice is to use the company as much as you can get away with. If your an associate play nice with management and only keep yourself available as much as you need to make what you need. Benefits are good but barely worth what they put you through. If you like chaos and problem solving on all levels this is the place for you.

Cons

Work life balance is nonexistent for any management position. Work is often poorly distributed in stores, those that work hard work harder then any other and will be held responsible. This company will pretend to train you but then rush anything and all things with nuance and needed knowledge. Store moral is horrid with a small select locations and stores having what I would consider a barrable environment. Hours will be divided poorly by store managers who will not plan ahead enough due to a lack of ability, time, or effort. Company communication is abysmal and store support is nonexistent. You will have a revolving head of staff as the turn over rate is absurd people will quit day one or two, and those that stay are often either desperate, deranged or looking for a promotion in all the wrong places. A poorly optimized company with a horrendous habit of running too lean to have customer service even be a thought in its employees heads. You will need to multi-task, you will be behind, and you will be held to beyond wild expectations more often then not. You will either have too many hours or not enough as an associate. As a manager you will never be able to keep up with task unless you and your team have put serious and absurd effort into training and accountability. Company response in any and all areas or issues often comes too late, and most stores that meet expectations are most likely doing something they shouldn't. Beware and be aware when working here.

Pros

Salary and holiday time, while overtime given back without exception.

Cons

Hard, long relentless work. Expectations completely exceed what is achievable. Senior managers just deliver deadlines and new task with little to no notice. Company cares exclusively about hourly staff, salaried shop floor are seen are chess pieces which can be moved with no notice. Middle managers are inexperienced and clueless to the impact of the workload they request from above the shop floor.
