Pros

Sticking to a 40-hour work week. Health benefits are fairly decent. 5% match on 401(k)

Cons

Pay is incredibly meager at the lower levels, below what is standard for the job. The job description is not accurate at all of the actual work to be done. As an administrator the pay is $39k. However, a fellow administrator told his line manager he was leaving who then offered him $44-45k to stay. This shows the company only "appreciates" its employees if they are on the way out. The culture here is toxic with the constant rotating door of employees across the board.

Pros

Great starting salaries for DM's and above. Excellent benefits package. High-quality peers and co-workers.

Cons

Fear culture. "I'm excited upper management is coming!" -said no one ever. We scramble to make the stores presentable then brace for negative feedback. Positive reinforcement is reserved for your Birthday and Christmas, and will only come in the form of a text message. Every decision from HQ is designed to protect themselves from the wrath of International, not serve customers.

Pros

Travel opportunities Pay is decent Nice benefits for managers and above (Car, Phone...etc) Decent PTO

Cons

No guidance or leadership from Director level and up Promotions are not based on ability or merit Payroll and HR departments are terribly inept at their jobs - Employees are frequently not paid correctly, if at all, OT payments and tax withdrawals are frequently incorrect No communication processes department to department Unable to make decisions and stick with those decisions Prefer to play the blame game as opposed to finding the root causes to issues and fixing them
