Pros

Lightspeed is on a mission to empower SMBs succeed in a digital world. Who wants to live in a world where all our local entrepreneurs providing unique retail and restaurant experiences are replaced by big box retail and fast food chains? If you want to work for a company that is focused on making a difference and considers employee retention and development as its core business strategy, you will not be disappointed. Yes we work hard. But we play hard as sell. Yes there is always room for improvement. But we are passionate about we do. We are moving fast and we learn from the past to better the future. Lightspeed is a special place to work at and you will be surrounded by driven people that challenge the status quo.

Cons

I can't think of any. Reading the negative comments I can't help but wonder how a company that kept every job safe in a global pandemic deserves less than 5 stars.

Company culture is amazing! Most people have a very positive outlook and seem passionate about their job. Lightspeed goes above and beyond to ensure employee happiness and morale. Salary and benefits are on par with other tech companies of Lightspeed's size.

Cons

Could work on promoting the achievements of each department on a company-wide basis

Pros

Super strong leadership team with a big vision for the future. There is a good amount of depth and width in the team structure that ensures lots of opportunities for personal development and career growth for both individual contributors as well as people managers. Stock options for every team member make us all feel valued and a part of the overall success of the company.

Cons

Global companies come with some tricky timezone compromises in some roles, but it's worth it to be part of such an interesting and fast-growing company.
