      Working on small project within Lockheed IS&GS doesn't really feel like you're working for Lockheed.

      Pros

      Being a contractor for the goverment means pretty good job security even in bad economic times. Their 401k matching is decent at 8%.

      Cons

      Within the little project I work on I feel like I don't even work for Lockheed Martin. We're fairly isolated. Word of advice based on my experience is to work on other groups other than IS&GS.

      -Management tries to fit employees into a bell curve when it comes to annual merits -All overtime is not paid. -No incentives for employees to work hard and get the job done -benefits are expensive and stink
